The Welsh boys are back! Lostprophets are starting their UK tour on February 4th, and ended on March 1st, playing some amazing venues inbetween. Personally, we can't wait to see them live, as it's been a while since they toured. And if that isn't enough, their support act is Kids In Glass Houses, with We Are The Ocean playing the Newcastle, Cambridge and Leeds dates aswell!

Lady GaGa to open the Grammys

It was apparently decided a while ago, but it has only just caught the public's attention. Lady GaGa, who is nominated for six Grammys, will be opening the show.

The Grammys are next Sunday and we're sure it is going to be spectacular.

In a recent poll to find the most hated woman in Britain, Katie Price has bagged herself first place - apparently loads of you hate the big-breasted reality star.

A source from OnePoll explained, "Peter has a loyal female following and is seen as one of the good guys."

After Katie, runners up were Kerry Katona, Peaches Geldof, Angelina Jolie, Fiona Phillps, Cherie Blair, Gilliam McKeith, Chantelle Houghton, Sadie Frost and Natasha Kaplinsky - together they make a lovely top 10.

Robbie Williams Sport Relief Single

Robbie Williams seems to be doing well for himself these days. Since getting together with his new girlfriend Robbie has had positive publicity and now two single announcements.

The first is the Haiti aid song, as we mentioned before - Robbie has teamed up with old band mates Take That to help to raise money for the appeal.

Now it has been announced that one of Robbie's tracks has been confirmed as the official Sports Relief single of 2010. The single 'Morning Sun' is due for release on the 8th March ahead of Sports Relief which takes place from the 19th to the 21st of March.

Robbie is said to be happy working for the charity and hopes to do his best with raising as much money as possible through the single release.

In the past artists such as McFly and Leona Lewis have released the Sport Relief Singles which have all been in the top five. McFly are the only ones to have a number one for the Sport Relief charity with their cover of Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now'.

All profits from the single will go the charity.

Simon Cowell wants to give Robert Pattinson a record deal

It has been reported that Simon Cowell wants to help Twilight star Robert Pattinson launch a music career.

Apparently Simon is keen to exploit the current interest in Robert, and this has caused a bidding war with other labels also keen to get their hands on Roberts talent... so to speak.

So why isn't he biting Simon's hand off? Apparently it has something to do with his connection to the X Factor.

'Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star - and takes his music very seriously,' a source told The Sun.

'He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with X Factor and pop.'

Robert's music has already appeared the Twilight soundtrack.

John and Edward, the X-Factor love 'em or hate 'em, singing, dancing, ghostbusting twins are in talks for their own documentary style TV show.

Following the success of a documentary on their official website, ITV2 are apparantly interested in following the twins on promo for their first single "Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)".

We're sure they may be a ratings hit - love or loathe them, they are certainly...interesting.

Jedward have been all over our screens this week, first performing their single with Vanilla Ice at the NTA's, and a memorable appearance on Big Brother's Big Mouth. Their single is released on 31st January.

The Jonas Brother split up with his girlfriend actress Camilla Belle almost 9 months ago, and has been single ever since.

‘This is the longest I've ever been single actually,' says Joe.

McFly to sign deal with old label Universal

Only 18 months after ditching Island Records to go it alone, McFly are about to sign a deal with Universal - the parent company of Island Records.

The McFly boys started their own label Super Records, investing hundreds of thousands of pounds of their own money, and gave away their first album Radio:ACTIVE for free with a national newspaper, but now they're going back to the big boys in an attempt to promote and distribute their music all over the world according to The Sun.

They have roped in a shock producer to work on their new music - R&B producer Dallas Austin, who has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, TLC and Pink.

Celebrities pitch in to help Haiti earthquake

We have told you how Simon Cowell is organising the charity single for the Haiti disaster, yet it is not only him who is willing to do all they can to help.

For instance Lady Gaga has decided to donate all the money raised from tickets and merchandise sold at her show in New York City on Sunday to the Appeal. At Wednesday's concert at the same venue (Radio City Music Hall) during a song Lady GaGa stopped mid-song and made a pledge to her fans;

"There's a lot of people in the world right now who need our help. Sing this so God can hear us. Sing this for the people of Haiti!"

She is also selling Haiti relief t-shirts on her official merchandise website, which according to the site, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the cause. Click here to see the design.

Josh Franceschi from You Me At Six is also doing his part to help Haiti. He recently launched his own clothing range 'Down But Not Out'. The clothing website are giving 20% of the proceeds from certain items on the range to the Haiti Earthquake Aid Appeal for the next 4 weeks.

Also, it is noted that celebrites themselves have been donating large amounts of money to do all they can for the cause. For instance Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $1 millon dollars. Madonna has also donated a quarter of a million.

In America tonight there is a one hour telethon set up by the likes of George Clooney in order to try and raise money for the appeal. Stars such as U2's Bono, Alicia Keys, Sting and Christina Aguilera have signed up to help. This will be screened tonight on MTV at 1am (GMT).

Vanessa White - Stropstar to Opera Star?

Vanessa White is apparently in bother with ITV bosses after skipping a Popstar to Opera Star rehearsal.

Apparently Vanessa threw a strop after being in the bottom two last week, and didn't turn up to practice with mentor and judge Rolando Villazon.

A source told The Sun: "Rolando was extremely angry, especially as he chose to save Vanessa last week.

"The bosses warned her to pull her socks up.

"Since then she's been back in rehearsals but she'll have to put on a great show tonight to prove she's taking the show seriously."

Everybody Hurts to be Simon Cowell's Haiti single

The artists getting involved with Simon Cowell's Haiti single will record a cover of REM's 1993 hit Everybody Hurts.

They plan to record the track next week, with the song being released by Sony later this month.

So who are 'they'?

Cowell has signed up Rod Stewart, Leona Lewis, JLS and Michael Buble as well as Joe McElderry, N-Dubz, Will Young, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Take That, George Michael and Sir Paul McCartney who are also reportedly getting involved.

'I hope everyone in the industry comes together to get involved. The response has been fantastic.' Cowell said.

We think it's a fantastic idea. We can't wait to see who gets involved and how it turns out.

Stephen Gately death investigation closed

The investigation into Stephen Gately's death has been closed.

Boyzone's Stephen died age 33 of natural causes while at his holiday home in Majorca.

A preliminary autopsy revealed that Stephen had a build-up of fluid in the lungs and that he suffered from an undiagnosed heart condition, which thickened his arteries.

Judge Carmen Abrines ruled that there was no evidence that drink or drugs were contributory factors to Stephens death.

RIP Stephen.

Danny Jones' Opera Star campaign against Vanessa White

Danny has admitted bribing the rest of The Saturdays to vote for him instead of their bandmate Vanessa.

Simon Cowell is organising a charity single in aid of victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Simon spoke of his plans at last night's NTA Awards.

'We had a request from the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and The Sun newspaper - would we put a record together?,'

We haven't got an awful lot of time, but we are going to do something and attempt to raise as much money as possible.

'I've got to try and get it all together in about 48 hours.'

He revealed that Cheryl Cole has agreed to be involved, there is also speculation that Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle may be involved too.

Amy Winehouse has pleaded guilty to common assault and disorder at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court.

Amy was given a two year conditional discharge and ordered to pay compensation of £100 to her victim Richard Pound, plus costs of £85.

‘It may be harder than a fine because you have now got to stay on the straight and narrow for the next two years,' said District judge Peter Crabtree.

Boyzone release tribute to Stephen Gately

Boyzone have released the song and video for one of the last tracks Stephen Gately sang on.

The poignant track, Gave It All Away, was recorded by the boys before Stephen passed away in October at his holiday home in Portugal, from Acute Pulmonary Oedema. Stephen was 33.

Danny Jones talks Popstar to Opera Star

As well as Danny McFly talking about his Miss England girlfriend Georgia Horsley, this week Danny has also been chatting about his stint as an opera singer on ITV 1's prime time reality effort, Popstar to Opera Star.

Danny says he's been working extremely hard for the show and that it's completely different to performing with McFly. "When I'm in McFly, I've got a guitar and my mates. It seems easy looking back at it now. With opera, you've got to sing from your eyes and your nose - it's like learning to sing again."

Danny said vocal coach Katherine Jenkins is a "perfectionist...you wouldn't mess about with her". He also commented on his competition, saying rival Vanessa from The Saturdays "is a lovely girl with an ace voice.", calling Bernie Nolan a "dark horse" and that Jimmy Osmond is "classic, so lovely and down to earth."

On Friday's debut show, Danny was the first singer to be put through. Blur guitarist Alex James and Vanessa received the lowest amount of votes and as a result were in the bottom two. After equal votes from the judges, it went to who collected the highest amount of public votes, and Vanessa was saved. We know all you Fleckster's are supporting Danny, as are we, and we wish him the best of luck in the coming weeks, and hope he hits those high notes!

McFly boy (and our new favourite Opera Star) Danny Jones has finally broken his silence on the whole Georgia Horsley goings on (if you don't know what's been going on click here).

A word of warning Danny fans, this is going to sting - not only has he confirmed that they are together, he says Georgia is 'the one'.

Speaking to the News Of The World, Danny spoke in detail about his recent love antics.

"I guess it's obvious what my type is - big, blonde girls. My mates thought it was cool."

Danny insists that he is no love rat, just having fun. We're sure long term girlfriend Olivia Shaw had loads of fun when he dumped her for his first Miss England Laura Coleman. Not.

"I felt s*** for hurting the others but I'm not a cheat,"

"But Georgia is the one - she's epic."

"I left it badly with her [Olivia]," he admits. "You write songs about these things. When you're scared of breaking up with someone, you ask for some space instead.

"So that's what I did and we were having space when I went to South Africa."

And that, boys and girls, is when he snogged Laura during a night out.

"That happened and I was like, 'I need to get out of this with Olivia'. It was an awkward situation because I had wanted to break up anyway but I didn't have the balls. So I'd asked for space, then I went and had a f****** great time in South Africa.

"I know I probably broke her heart. I haven't had mine broken before but I can imagine how it feels." - oh we're sure you can Danny.

But Danny isn't a love rat... because he claims he was never actually going out with Laura.

He recalls: "I did kiss her [Laura] and got with her for a bit, but it wasn't as a girlfriend. I was just like, 'Wow, it's Miss England.' It was pretty cool.

"Maybe Laura thought there was something more to it."

Danny did admit that, if it wasn't for Laura, he never would have met his latest Miss England - Georgia Horsley.

"Meeting Georgia was an accident really. I bumped into her at that event but I backed off.
"Then months later she asked me out for a drink. She was such a laugh - a really amazing girl."

"I'm not a cheat. I wouldn't have the guts to do that.
"I was obviously a single lad at the time and having fun. I saw a girl and I fancied her. I just like good-looking girls, to be honest!"

We're glad Danny is finally happy and settling down. Congrats to the pair.

Lady Gaga has reportedly collapsed due to 'exhaustion and dehydration' - surprisingly not because of the weight of her silly hair.

The singer had to pull out of a gig in Indiana moments before she was due to go on stage, with the audience being told that a 'sudden illness' had caused her to faint backstage.

‘Due to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady GaGa collapsed and passed out before her show tonight,' her publicist confirmed.

‘Her physician has advised her to take a few days off to rest.'

Gaga later posted a huge apology to her Twitter page saying 'I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything,'

It's been 5 years since Busted split

Can you believe it's been five years since everyone's favourite band, Busted, split up?

We thought they'd still be together in the Year 3000, but it wasn't to be and so five years ago you were probably just as gutted as we were watching that press conference.

Don't be sad, let's concentrate on the good times.

As a band they won Record Of The Year and several BRIT Awards, they sold out on arena tours and sold over 3 million albums worldwide.

Their first single What I Go To School for was released in 2002 and charted at number 3 in the UK Top 40. Their second single Year 3000 (2003) charted at number 2 and then finally in April 2003 the band bagged their first number 1 single with You Said no. Guinness Hit Singles even certified them as the first band to have their debut three singles chart in the top 3 in ascending order.

The band were extremely popular with the fans due to their always hilarious and memorable interviews, and appearances on Saturday morning TV.

Ah, we remember it like it was yesterday. Trecking down to London to arse around in front of the cameras at the recordings of CD:UK - and to see the band of course.

Since the bands split in 2005, they have been thrust back into our lives via the Busted Court Case (2008) - a battle over royalties, and several reunion rumours.

The court case saw former band members Ki McPhail and Owen Doyle claim they had helped to write several of Busted's hit songs including What I Go To School For, Year 3000 and Sleeping With The Light On as well as popular album track Psycho Girl and so the £10 million battle began.

We reported on the case the whole way through, bringing you revelations and gossip, including Ki McPhail brining his guitar into the court room to demonstrate the Busted song writing process - and playing Wheatus' hit song Teenage Dirtbag.

When we asked Wheatus frontman Brendan B Brown what he thought about having his song played in the High Court he told us all about his mixed feelings on the matter:

"On the one hand it's pure Monty Python genius. You couldn't pay millions to the best video director to paint that picture. Only in this surreal world of ours is that possible. On the other hand I am a bit angry. I am good friends with James Bourne, I know he was in the right and I thought 'You c*nt! How dare you use my song to try and steal from my friend? I'll reach down your throat and pull your fucking skeleton out' Pwned!"

However at the end of the battle it was announced that Ki and Owen had lost the battle, with the judge calling them both "unreliable witnesses".

In a statement after the trial McPhail and Doyle said: “Owen, Ki and their families are very disappointed and frustrated at the judgement made here today,” it said. “They came to court for justice and for the deserved recognition as co-writers of Busted's songs. The judge has avoided making a decision on that point. So the case remains unresolved after seven years."

What did Matt and James have to say on the matter? They posted this photo (right) to James' MySpace along with the heading "WE REFUSED TO PAY THE RANSOM AND VICTORY IS OURS".

The official statement from the pair said "This was an opportunistic attempt by Doyle and McPhail to cash in on our success. Their claims were a complete fabrication and we are delighted that the judge has seen through this and totally dismissed them. Our position has been completely vindicated and our achievements with Busted remain untarnished."

Several rumours regarding a Busted reunion have done the rounds in the press - we've got quotes from all three members here regarding the chances of a reunion.

You Me At Six seem to finally be experiencing the credit they deserve, thanks to the release of their new album 'Hold Me Down' which was out on Monday.

The band have gone from strength to strength recently and now the new album seems to have given them the publicity boost that was needed.

Yesterday at an in store performance and signing in Glasgow, riot police had to be called to attend to the overflow of people who unexpectedly had all turned up to see the band. Many fans were unfortunately turned down from the event for health and safety regulations.

'Hold Me Down' is currently in the midweek charts at number 4 and the band are doing a live interview tonight on BBC News 24 at 6pm(GMT).

Miley parked her black Prius outside Coffee Bean before going inside to get a drink, then when she left she had a bit of trouble trying to unlock her car.

The funniest thing is that it wasn't Miley herself who realised it wasn't her car, various members of the paparazzi had to tell her.

After realising her mistake she laughed awkwardly "That's not my car."

The couple were engaged last year after meeting in 2007.

Danny Jones talks opera and albums

McFly boy Danny Jones has spoken to Heat about taking part in Popstar To Opera Star, and about the new McFly album.

"The support is brilliant," he said, "And the boys will be there for me, too. I've said I want them in my dressing room with me on Friday." Danny told Heat that when he first got offered the chance to be on the show he said no. But Tom, Dougie and Harry persuaded him to "take one for the team".

Danny tweeted today saying that he had just attended the press launch of the show, and that he was having a lesson with the show's mentors. He posted this photo to his Twitter page (right).

He also spoke about the new McFly album, revealing that it won't be ready until the second half of 2010.

The band are currently still writing new songs.

"It's going to be brilliant" Danny said.

It's the last thing Britney Spears needs after all the drama she's been through already. Britney and Jason Trawick, who were rumoured to be engaged, are taking a break.

The reason behind this sudden break might just be because Jason has been reported flirting with other girls behind Britney's back. That lead to confrontation, which lead to a fight and now they're separated. They insist it's only temporary though.

Just like any other girl after a break-up, she needed change which is why she dyed her blonde locks black. It might not be her best look, but anything is better than bald!

We don't like the sounds of this Jason... the fact that he's flirting with other girls is bad enough, but when we heard that he's been spotted with a girl who looked like Britney did five years ago, he'd done it for us. No wonder Britney called for a break!

Well, at least she knows that she isn't one.

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine Miley explained that she doesn't like to be labelled a role model.

“My job isn’t to tell your kids how to act or how not to act because I’m still figuring that out for myself,”

You should have thought of that before you joined Disney Miley!

Miley isn't happy with the constant criticism she's getting about her behaviour and how everybody (and we mean everybody) finds her a bad influence on children.

Of course, everybody makes mistakes, but pole dancing at the Nickelodeon awards and posting naughty pictures of yourself (remember she's only 17!) might just take it a step too far.

People are supposed to learn from their mistakes, and so is Miley.

"To take that away from me is a bit selfish. Your kids are going to make mistakes whether I do or not. That’s just life."

It's getting to that time of year again, X Factors finished, so we no longer have anything to do at the weekends. We have eaten our own body weight in chocolate and watched number of films we never thought possible, it's the time of the year to watch celebrities make a fool of themselves of national television.

Celebrity Big Brother starts again this Sunday and the rumours are flying around as usual to who will be the unfortunate housemates with Big Brother being more harsh than ever before.

Perhaps the most unsurprising rumour is that of Kerry Katona's rejection from the Celebrity Big Brother house. As we know through the years we have seen her demise through the press and her large loss of money - this was the only way she was expecting to get money and publicity.

Although her plans fell through as the UK press reported, due to her failing of the psychological tests. The producers could not take the risk to let her enter the house. Kerry Katona suffers from Bi Polar disorder but sources say she felt confident after she had taken the test that she would have passed and therefore been allowed into the Big Brother House.

I guess we will have to wait until Sunday to see which housemates make it through the test!

Avenged Sevenfold drummer found dead

Avenged Sevenfold drummer James Owen Sullivan has been found dead in his Huntington Beach home.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine cause of death.

A message posted Monday on the band's website confirmed his death.

"It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy (The Rev) Sullivan," the statement said.

"Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother."

James was only 28 years old. RIP.

The rumours were rubbished when a number of fans said that they'd just left London's O2 Arena after seeing Miley live and alive. Miley's brother Trace posted a picture of himself backstage and not looking like his sister had just died.

Peaches soon deleted the posts and issued an apology saying that she “didn't want to cause distress.”

The tables were turned on Peaches when irritated tweeters decided to start a rumour that Peaches herself had died.

They tried to make her leave the theatre, but she said no no no.

Things turned ugly when Amy Winehouse went to see Cinderella starring Anthea Turner and Bobby Davro, in Milton Keynes.

Apparently Amy was heckling the cast during the show and assaulted a member of staff.

The alleged assault is understood to have taken place when a front-of-house manager asked Amy to leave after she reportedly shouted mid-performance "He's fucking behind you" and "Fuck Cinders, Prince Charming, marry me," As well as apparently calling the Ugly Sisters "bitches".

Amy got to meet Anthea, who was playing the part of the Fairy Godmother, during the interval. She reportedly said "I love you, Anthea, sticky-black plastic, I love you", before apparently bleeding on her costume (Amy had somehow cut herself).

A spokeswoman for the theatre said: “We can confirm that on Saturday evening a member of the audience was asked to leave the building during a performance of Cinderella.”

A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said the force was investigating an allegation of assault on a 27-year-old man after being called to the theatre just before 9.30pm on Saturday.

Rage Against The Machine are Christmas Number One

Congratulations Rage Against The Machine! Killing In The Name bagged the Christmas number one spot.

Since the begin of X Factor time (excluding Steve Brookstein who lost out to Band Aid 20 - a deserving cause, but did reach the number one spot after Christmas) the X Factor winner's song has always been the Christmas number one. We feel a bit sorry for Joe McElderry that he's been robbed of the Christmas number one (up until the RATM campaign, we were all expecting the X Factor winner to be number one) - but the Christmas number two spot is still pretty good, so congratulations to Joe too.

It's been great to have a battle for the Christmas number one spot. Not since The Darkness and Gary Jules battled it out for the top spot have we been so excited about listening to the Christmas chart.

First Tom, now Danny's had a near miss on the road

Another incident happened tonight involving a different member of McFly, what are we going to do with them?!

On Wednesday we posted about Tom Fletcher's car accident, tonight it seems it was nearly the turn for Danny Jones!

We were all worried enough when we heard about the incident involving Tom and his parent's now it seems the snowy weather has nearly caught Danny out too.

Danny said on twitter at 00:24am, 'Well i thought it was my turn to crash tonight' stating that he had 'got caught up in the snow and skidded on the motorway[sic]'.

A few minutes later to assure fans he was well and safe! He said that it was 'all good tho, the car is stranded at dougie's... let it snow let it snow'. Good to see the incident didn't put him off the snowy weather!

We had Tom Fletcher's lecture last night on wearing seatbelts, tonight Danny warned;
'DRIVE CAREFULLY EVERYONE IN THE SNOW'.

Zac Efron surprises Vanessa!

Pretty boy Zac Efron threw a surprise 21st birthday party for girlfriend Vanessa Hugends on Monday, December 14.

The actress (slash singer) thought she was going out for her first legal alcoholic beverage at a Hollywood restaurant with her boyfriend, but instead he had made plans for 100 of their friends to join them at East Restaurant and Lounge.

One of the guests at the party said: "When she walked in she was completely surprised!"

Some of the people present were good friends Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, Brittany Snow and Corbin Bleu. DJ Zen Freeman was there to play a mix of hip-hop music for the night.

As if that wasn't enough, Zac also gave a tearjerking speech, wishing Vanessa a very happy birthday and encouraged the guests to have a fun night.

From what we heard, it was a great party. Especially when Vanessa joined her friends on the dancefloor after blowing out the candles on her birthday cake, to show her dancemoves to Lady Gaga's Pokerface. Maybe a bit delayed, but, happy birthday Vanessa! Still jealous of your gorgeous boyfriend!

This Rage Against The Machine For Christmas Number One campaign has the entire country in a flap.

Not only is it possible that we may have a Xmas number one that isn't an X Factor winners song, but anyone listening to BBC Radio Five this morning had to endure several droppings of the F-bomb.

Chatting to Nicky Campbell and Shelagh Fogarty, all 4 band members were interviewed and then went on to perform a live version of Killing In The Name.

The band were doing a great job not swearing, but at the climax of the song, they unleashed a host of fucks and the sound was faded out.

As the sound of the band was drowned out, show co-host Shelagh Fogarty said: "Get rid of it."

"Sorry, we needed to get rid of that because that suddenly turned into something we were not expecting. Well, we were expecting it but we asked them not to do it and they did it anyway. So buy Joe's records instead."

Dear BBC, did you really tell Rage Against The Machine not to swear? The lyrics are "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" - think about it.

Rachel Adedeji does a Kanye West

We all saw Rachel Adedeji on the X Factor final night, grabbing the microphone off Joe McElderry during his winners performance and shouting "I love you, I love you".

Well Rachel has defended his actions, and insists that she wasn't trying to pull a Kanye.

‘I wasn't trying to steal his thunder,' she says. ‘I was just so excited for him.

‘We are just so close but I wasn't having a Kanye West moment.'

Despite the rumours that Rachel and Joe are planning to move in together, and that they may even be an item, Rachel insists otherwise.

‘There were no romances inside The X Factor house,' she tells Metro.

Tom Fletcher in car accident

Poor Tom Fletcher and his family were involved in a car accident tonight, but thankfully all escaped with minor injuries - and Tom without a scratch.

McFly's Tom posted to Twitter at 23:29 saying "Had a car crash in my parents car. Everyones fine. Crazy cab hit us and dads lovely Jag saved us all...but it got wrecked in the process.[sic]"

"Just thankful we're all alive! Dads devastated about his car, I gave it to him as a present. Seatbelts and airbags literally saved mum and dads life tonight!"

"In for a long night at the hospital. What a shock! Things could have been so much worse. Dad is such a careful driver! Shame others aren't."

"Not a scratch on me, she spun us around to face the other direction! Minor injuries for my parents. My door flew open after she hit us"

At the time of publishing, the most recent update from Tom was "Dad all checked, whiplash and some scratches and bruises! Mums up next. Festive cheer all round!" - this was posted at 00:30.

Yes, this news is straight from the Horsley's mouth.

Speaking to The Press, Georgia revealed she and Danny were “very happy together” and also laughed off the “anti-Georgia Horsley” Facebook group, set up by distraught fans.

She said: “It’s just ridiculous – what’s the point?
“It’s really funny but there’s always going to be someone does this sort of thing. I’m not rising to it.”

The Press states that "As well as the Facebook page, speculation that Dan, 23, and Georgia, also 23, were an item has been mounting on the internet, where pictures have appeared of the couple out together."

McFly disappoints fans?

McFly have been out of the picture music-wise for quite a while now. Their last album was released in July 2008 and the fans are hungry for more.

The original plan was to release a new album in spring 2010, a tour would follow and was roughly scheduled to take place in March of that year.

Bad news for all McFly fans. It may not be until May or June 2010 until we get to hear new tunes. Nobody is pleased with this news, especially after their management told us that the deadline might be pushed back even further. This all depends on the speed of the registration of McFly's new music.

Once there is a fixed date, that won't change. McFly will begin by planning their UK tour, and now this has been postponed it may not be until October 2010 that we get to see the guys play a UK tour.

When will we see the guys again? It's a mystery for now, no one really knows...

X Factor Singles 2004-2009

Another year, another X Factor winner's single.

With several anti-X Factor campaigns this year (Rage Against The Machine, The Muppets, Journey, Tim Minchin), this may be the first year since Steve Brookstein (he was up against Band Aid 20, come on) that the X Factor winner hasn't bagged the Christmas number one spot.

This year the X Factor winner Joe McElderry is releasing The Climb - previously released by Miley Cyrus.
To celebrate Amazon are selling all the winners singles for only 29p each.

So here's what we think of the previous singles. We're rating the singers on how much we personally liked them, and the songs in terms of how much we liked them as X Factor singles.

Steve Brookstein - Against All Odds
The very first X Factor winner Steve released a cover of Phil Collins - Against All Odds, and only missed out on a Christmas number one because of Band Aid 20's Do They Know It's Christmas. However, he did reach the number one spot in January.

Steve has always come across as a really nice guy, but in terms of chart success he's officially off our radar now.

Shayne Ward - That's My Goal
We loved Shayne, and we loved the song he released - That's My Goal. In fact, it's our favourite X Factor track of all time.

Shayne won the show in 2005, and we were excited to meet him at Party In The Park the following year. Unfortunately we had to witness the group of poor little girls who he made cry by totally ignoring them, at that point we fell out of love with Shayne.

Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This
Leona was the first female to win the show, releasing A Moment Like This. The song was OK, but not our favourite. If we love Leona for one thing, it's rescuing a rabbit and then letting Steve Rushton rabbit-sit for her.

Aww, cute little Leon Jackson. He may not have been as hot hot hot as Shayne, but we adored him just as much.

Alexanda Burke - Hallelujah
We liked Alexandra and wanted her to win, but we weren't keen on Hallelujah as the song she released. We weren't the only ones, fans of Jeff Buckley's version tried to get the track to number one instead of the X Factor cover, but failed. It did reach number 2 though.

We love her voice, and thankfully here second single Bad Boys was incredible. Let's hope she keeps the diva-like behaviour under raps though.

The current X Factor winner Joe McElderry was our second favourite this year (after the wonderful Olly Murs, boo-hoo). As much as we love Joe, we hate that damn Miley Cyrus song The Climb. If we overlook that fact, Joe is such a nice guy (a source backstage told us he was the ONLY contestant this year who didn't show any diva-like tendencies), and he has a great voice.

Chris Brown is the latest attention seeker, and like Miley Cyrus and Lil Wayne he has deleted his Twitter.

Chris' Twitter exit came after a week's worth of ranting on the social network, about stores not stocking his potential hit (zing) album, graffiti.

Chris seemed convinced that there is some kind of conspiracy against him after going into Wal-Mart and not being able to buy his own album.

X-Factor Christmas number one debate!

The typical yearly 'tradition' that the X-Factor winners song is the Christmas number one may have a slight change this year!

Joe McElderry's single 'The Climb', a cover of the Miley Cyrus song is the bookies favourite to hit the number one slot and Amazon is selling the single for a bargain of 29p!

But this might be the very reason the single is not a number one hit, on the official singles chart this Christmas.

According to many on a variety of forums and websites, the downloading 'rules' for a purchase to be bought and counted in the single sales, it has to be at least 40p, therefore making the sales from the single bought on Amazon not counting towards his chart position.

In small print in the 'rules' it states;

Digital Minimum Dealer Price £0.40p : Only tracks with a minimum PPD of 40 pence or more shall be eligible for the Official Singles Chart. In the event that a record company has an alternative business model
for the sale of downloads (i.e., one not based on a published dealer price), the price charged to the online digital retailer should not be less than 32 pence per track. OCC will monitor sales to ensure they are
'genuine sales'. Where OCC judges sales not to be genuine, they may be excluded from the chart at OCC's absolute discretion.

So according to this, the Amazon sales may not count!

Yet another confusion to add to the mix is that on Joe's official website the places given to download the single includes the website Amazon!

Also, there is the online campaign as we mentioned before for Rage Against The Machine to be Christmas number one instead!

I guess we will just have to wait and see if anything is said on this matter or until Christmas day to see if Joe can top the charts and follow the traditional X-Factor set-up.

Only time will tell!

The 'McFly curse' strikes once again!

So you've probably heard of the 'curse' that seems to be upon the poor bands who support McFly on tour. The McFly boys themselves are aware of it too and have spoken about this 'curse' in interviews.

The 'curse' seems to be that once a band has supported McFly on tour, months or even years later the band seems to unfortunately and strangely split up.

From the beginning days of V and The Click Five to most recently Reemer and Go:Audio, it seems the curse is currently unbreakable!

Today Saving Aimee announced that they are taking a break from the band for a while and stated on their Myspace blog;

'...there is only so much you can do with a band before you hit the ceiling
and realise it's not progressing and find you all want to go in different directions.
It hasn't been an easy decision, but it is for the best interest of everyone involved within the band that we've decided to take a break and work out our next step.'

Out of the few remaining bands yet unstruck by this 'McFly curse' are Elliot Minor and Vagabond.

Rumours have been flying around the press this weekend that Katy Perry and Russell Brand are set to be engaged!

The pair have been dating for around 3 months now and seem inseparable! Russell has done nothing but praise the relationship in interviews, talk about settling down and even the chance of having children with Katy!

The rumours started as Russell was spotted spending hours in London in an expensive jewellery shop, Cartier, looking at diamond rings for his girlfriend. Cheekily, he even tried it on his left wedding ring finger!

Yesterday Russell Brand flew out to LA to visit Katy, perhaps to pop the question!

Simon Cowell isn't too chuffed about the ever increasing number of Facebookers trying to prevent the X Factor winner bagging a Christmas number one by getting Rage Against The Machine's track Killing In The Name the spot instead.

Cowell told The Sun "It's stupid – a cynical campaign aimed at me which is going to spoil the party."

"It's incredibly dismissive of people who watch and enjoy the show."

"It treats them as if they are stupid."

Simon says (LOL) that the campaign won't affect him the most - the person who will really suffer is the winner of the show. Simon believes the campaign is ruining their opportunity to get a number one.

With the Facebook group growing in size by the day, it will be interesting to see who bags the number one spot.

He told Contact Music, "I've pretty much worked with everybody I want to work with in the music industry apart from Robbie Williams. I really want to do something with him. During the Curtis album we talked about working together and we set up some time to go into the studio to make something happen and then he went to rehab right before we got into our session. So it never actually happened. But I still want to do it." He then continued, "He has a unique voice and a different kind of energy to anyone I've ever listened to. It will make for a different kind of hit record. So make sure you tell him to pick up the phone."

Miley's brother thinks she's boring

20-year-old Trace, who is in the band Metro Station, says that his 17-year-old sister is “very sensible” when she’s on the road.

Lady Gaga's stage 'suicide' plans

Lady Gaga was disappointed when organisers of the Royal Variety Performance told her to "tone down" her act.

Gaga had planned to perform her Paparazzi suicide act, which she performed at the VMAs in September.

For those of you who don't remember, Gaga seemed to stab herself, before appearing to bleed to death and hanging from the ceiling.

Gaga told how she wanted to recreate the show in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.

She says, "I wanted to do the suicide scene I did at the MTV Awards but I was told it wouldn't be appropriate. And not only has that been vetoed, but I have had to tone down my act generally."

Lady Gaga settled on a toned own act, which saw her wearing a full-length red rubber outfit while she played a piano suspended in the air on giant stilts.

The star was then treated to a meeting with the Queen backstage, but when asked what they discussed, Lady Gaga replied, "That is private."

‘About two years ago, I lost two stone in weight,' tells Joe.

‘At 15 I decided to start a healthy eating plan. It was prompted by just feeling I didn't have any energy.

‘I was an active child, but when I hit my teens I discovered computers and the weight just piled on.'

‘One day I suddenly looked in the mirror and thought "Oh my god, I have a flat stomach,"' he tells Great Ormond Street Hospital's Teens First For Health. ‘It was amazing.

'I would never let myself get back to that weight now. I'm not saying I don't fluctuate from week to week, but I am much more aware of my body now and listen to it.'

X Factor's Lucie Jones and Twilight star Robert Pattinson are apparently going on a dinner date.

Lucie said: “His sister got in touch with me after seeing me on the show and asked if I wanted to come to dinner after the Twilight New Moon film a couple of weeks ago.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ Unfortunately for me I had to switch on the Christmas lights in Warrington on the same day!

“I couldn’t believe I missed such an opportunity, I was gutted.

“We are still in touch, though, and are going to go to dinner or something next week.

“I can’t believe it – he is like my dream man, I really, really fancy him. Kristen Stewart had better watch out!”

Killing the X Factor

Are you sick of the X Factor being Christmas number one EVERY year?

This year's X Factor winner (Joe, Olly or Stacey) will be releasing a cover of The Climb by Miley Cyrus. We weren't so hot on the song when Miley released it, so we're hardly buzzing over the fact it's being re-released months later.

The hit was a number 11 in the UK chart for Miley, but everyone is expecting the X Factor winner to take it to the number 1 spot.

So what's the alternative?

Some bright spark has started a Facebook group, to try and make Rage Against The Machine's track Killing In The Name the Christmas number 1.

The group, which at the time of writing has nearly 300,000 members at the time of writing, states that fans should buy the song from December 13 – the same day that this year's X Factor winner's song becomes available.

It's our favourite RATM track so we'd love to see them get the Xmas number 1.

Marilyn Manson dropped by record label

Marilyn Manson has been dropped by his record label Interscope after poor album sales.

Manson was released from his contract after 'The High End of Low' apparently only sold 121,000 copies in the US.

The singer told Metal Hammer: "We've just been released from our record contract with Interscope, so I think a lot of the creative control on which my hands were tied on a lot of choices - the music videos - things like that (has been regained).

"I was so restrained from the music that I wanted to make - what they would allow, they would put out, what ideas they would allow to be conveyed in these videos. At least half of my creative output has been squashed, so now I think people can expect a whole lot more."

Manson also revealed that he is working on new music.

"I think it will be more badass," he added. "I think it’s going to be more romantic maybe. Self abusive."
